Lesley Stickland

Registered Manager

Lesley joined the team at Windsor Court in August 2016 as the Manager. She makes a difference to the lives of the residents (and their families) by ensuring that Windsor Court is a real home and embodies the core Beritaz Values of Caring, Trusting and Choices. Her key aim is to provide peace of mind, individuality and choice by giving home from home quality care. She has been supported by Beritaz to continue to learn and develop and is currently doing her Level 5 Leadership Programme and Business Skills. She loves working for Windsor Court, part of the Beritaz family of Care and values all the support she is given – she says Beritaz really is one big family. When she’s not working she loves spending time with her family and horses.

Tomasz Malec

Senior Care Assistant

Tomasz is a Senior Carer at Windsor Court and has been working there since May 2016. He makes a difference to the lives of our residents by treating them all as individuals, promoting and respecting their choices, promoting their health and well-being by making sure they are receiving their medications in an accurate safe and timely manner. He keeps their family and friends updated on any changes (whilst also bearing in mind the data protection act and taking into account the residents’ rights to confidentiality). He is really keen to ensure that the family feel involved and know that their relatives are receiving the best of care. He has worked hard and is determined to be the best that he can and is therefore delighted to have begun his Level Three Management Course so that he can continue to develop his career at Windsor Court, within the Beritaz Care family of homes. What makes Beritaz Care (and Windsor Court in particular) stand out is the fact that they always put the well-being and safety of the residents first, focussing on delivering high quality care – these are Tomasz’ values too. He also likes the fact that at Beritaz they value staff and their well-being. When not working, Tomasz relaxes and is very fond of a late night pizza.

Brenda Rimmer

Care Assistant

Brenda has been working at Windsor Court for over 8 years. Brenda makes a difference to the lives of the residents by ensuring that they are well looked after and have everything that they need. She has completed both her NVQ Levels 2 and 3 whilst working at Windsor Court. Brenda has also mentored many staff in the home. She loves the training and support she receives as well as the new equipment recently bought for Windsor Court. When not at Windsor Court she likes to spend time with her family and to indulge in crusty bread with cheese when she can.

Caroline Martin

Care Assistant

Caroline has worked at Windsor Court for at least 15 years and has seen many changes inside the home. She has both her NVQ Levels 2 & 3 and works only 18 hours a week. Caroline enjoys the ongoing training that is provided in the home and the opportunities to undertake distance learning courses. Caroline would like to learn new skills and carry on working as part of a dedicated team here at Windsor Court and says that she would recommend Windsor Court to anyone who wants to work in Health Care. When not at work she loves spending time with her family.
